Updates
After troubleshooting a problem with the electronics for a couple weeks, I got
impatient and took the car to Paul Efantis at MSP. I took out the VPC/AFR and
had Paul install an Electromotive Tec3 stand alone.

Okay, I haven't updated this site in a long time. After getting my SP60 back,
the oil seal blew for a second time!! I sent it back to SP to be rebuilt again
(still under warranty). I didn't really feel like waiting again and Paul had
a used SP63 on hand, so he went ahead and installed that. I've had the car back
for almost a week, and everything is running smooth. Hasn't been tuned yet since
the SP63 was installed, so I've been going very easy on it and, for the most
part, have been staying out of boost. I'm taking the car up to MSP tonight to
dyno!
January 15, 2003
On January 3, 2003 I finally got my car back!! It dynoed at just over 320rwhp
at only 7psi!! Unfortunately, my SP60 blew an oil seal so we didn't turn up
the boost any. I took the turbo off and mailed it back to Sound Performance.
It is still under warrenty, so they are fixing it free of charge. Still sucks
though cause it's another two weeks I have to wait after already waiting over
four months!!
