Air Bag Light Reset

This is very easy to do.

All you need is two wires at least a foot long. I just grabbed a leftover piece of stereo wire and pulled the positve and negative apart.

First, locate one of your engine diagnostics ports. I used DLC1 (shown in the pic below) located on the passenger side up against the firewall. You could also use DLC2 located next to the hood release latch.

Put one of the wires in terminal TC and the other in terminal AB. See pic below.

Turn the car to the on position (but don't turn on the engine).

Wait about 5 seconds and then touch the free end of the wire connected to the TC terminal to a ground source. (I used one of the shock tower studs).

In approx one second intervals, you will quickly switch from the TC wire to the AB wire repeatedly on the ground source.

Do this for about 15-20 seconds and the light should be cleared. If it does not clear after the first try. Keep trying. Alter the time holding each wire to the ground source and make other variations until you succeed. *
