GReddy 52mmGauge Install
*
All of the GReddy Gauges I'm covering have the following four wires...
One way to wire them is into the clock harness as so..
On these particular gauges, the wiring harness is only about 1.5ft long. As
you can see in the pic below. That is not nearly enough length for any of the
three gauges in the pillar pod to reach the clock wiring harness.
So, I had to do some custom wiring.

After doing this, it was just long enough for me the splice into the clock harness. Maybe not the best way to do it, but what the hell. It worked.
Finished wire...

Clock Harness wired in...

When splicing into the clock harness, be sure not to let the power (red) and ground (black) wires touch each other or you will blow a fuse. If you do, just open the fuse box (next to battery) and change the 7.5 fuse in the pic below...

*
Now that the gauges have the needed power, we will hook them up so they can
actually monitor EGT, boost, pressure, or whatever gauges you are running.
In the pic below, you will see a yellow rubber boot in the background. This is
where the wire harnesses will be run through the firewall and into the engine
bay. Just push a hole through it with a screwdriver or similar. Push a coat
hanger through the boot as far as you can. Go find it in the engine bay and
attach the wires for each gauge to the end of the coat hanger.
Note: the ends
of the wires that clip into the gauge are smaller than the other end, so it is
easier to pull through this way.
Another Note: if any of them wires looks similar to either of the other wires,
you may want to mark them before you pull them through the firewall.
This is where the coat hanger will come through in the engine bay...
Pull the coat hanger back through the firewall. Run the wires up through the
dash and into the pillar pod and connect to the proper wire to the proper gauge.
